Why do I climb?
My worrying parents always ask me, "why must you climb?" The answer is 1) for the challenge, and 2) because I can.
I have always sought to undertake, what one friend refers to as, BHAGs - Big Harry Ass Goals. Those things that stretch us as human beings. We, I, need this in my life to feel accomplished. I get some of that from my real estate career, but it's not enough.
And because I am lucky to be healthy and fit, and have the time and flexibility to climb, it seems I should. To once again put it on the line and do something that is really hard and adventurous. A test of physical and mental endurance. Preparation and execution.
An opportunity to be taken advantage of. A project. And by its very nature, a road less traveled.
